Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys (formerly known as the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc or Barcelona Olympic Stadium) was designed by architect Pere Domènech i Roura and built in 1927 for the 1929 International Exposition Barcelona and renovated in 1989 to be the main stadium for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The stadium has a capacity of 55,926 spectators (67,007 during the 1992 Olympics). The stadium served as the home of football club RCD Espanyol from 1997 until 2009 and it also served as the home of the Barcelona Dragons American Football team until 2003.
Opening time: from October to March: 10 am to 6 pm. From April to September: 10 am to 8 pm. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 10 am to 2:30 pm. Price: 5,10 €
