Palau de la Música Catalana

Built between 1905 and 1908 by the architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner, thePalau de la Música Catalana is one of the most unique concert venues in the world and one of the most representative monuments of Catalan Modernism, which was built for the Orfeó Català, a choral society founded in 1891 that was a leading force in the Catalan cultural movement that came to be known as the Renaixença(Catalan Rebirth). In 1997, the Palau de la Música Catalana was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building outsides are very beautiful, but the insides are amazing. Due toits wide variety of concerts we suggest you look at the billboard if you fancy going to a concert in a spectacular place.
Opening time: from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am until 9 pm. Guided tours: daily from 10 am until 3:30 pm.
